Art has inspired how I live my life and how I spend my time. It drives my motivation and my discipline. I received my bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History from Indiana University in 2014 and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Art Education. I believe that the fine arts supports learning in all subject areas through visual literacy, critical thinking and verbal and written communication. I hope to encourage members to try new techniques, ask questions and build community with fellow artists.

Art came to me unexpectedly. While I have always loved art, it was not until I was sitting in an undergrad Art History class that I realized there was nothing else I would rather do. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from McNeese State University in 2013 and I am currently attending Indiana University for my Masters in Art Education. Art is an often-overlooked tool in education. It is a prism to better understand the world around us. I hope to be a part of your art journey.
